I am a self-employed producer/composer/computer-programmer and visual-artist and work with all kinds of art-related projects – usually sound related.
I compose electronic music and hold a masters degree in electronic music-composition from the Royal Academy of Music from 2009.
I play audiovisuals concerts under the alias “Vectral” and play in addition as many concerts with various other musicians in different groups. I have played a lot of concerts both in- and outside Denmark. For example in China, France, Italy, Germany, England and at Roskilde Festival
Since 2006 I have worked with visuals as a part my solo concerts and it has been the goal from the beginning to integrate sound and image into a single expression. For this purpose i developed the program “Graphx” which translate sound to 3D graphic models.
I compose music for all kinds of purposes – film, theatre, performance-dance, commercials etc. For example, I worked as composer on the film “Alle for én” with the actors Rutger Hauer, Mick Øgendal, Rasmus Bjerg etc.
Since 2005 I have been working as a producer / engineer on various records and demos.
I work in my own mix-studio in Aarhus – and do mostly mixing and mastering.
Recently I worked with “Kresten Osgood og Indianerne feat Ed Thigpen,” on their record titled “Sound”. I did all the recording and mixing.
I also work as teacher at the Royal Academy of Music and Aarhus MGK. I teach composition and production of electronic music, programming and general audio engineering.
In 2009 I began to produce printed images, using my music translated into images with Graphx.
When I was offered to do an exhibition of stills from my visuals I took a step further and developed a way to export the 3d models created by sound in Graphx, so I could work with the entire scene in a standard 3D rendering environment and create high resolution images without compromising the original idea.
