Ujazz 2012 installation

Ujazz is an annual one-day festival and a part of the Aarhus Festival Week (Aarhus Festuge). I created an installation for the concert hall together with SideProjects, who had decorated the room with hundreds of paper-birds. I made a music controlled program that generated patterns, and projected the image on the paper birds with four projectors.

This was the second time I created an installation for the festival. Last year I made an audio-reactive television setup – read about it here

On the September 6. at the Aarhus Festival Week I will play a concert with the big-band “Blood, Sweat, Drum + Bass”.

Ujazz – Video Installation

I created an audio-reactive video installation for the U-jazz festival – a part of Aarhus Festival Week.

15 TV-monitors was the base for the installation. A microphone picked up the music being played on the 2 stages at the venue. Video skipping and some effects was controlled by the audio input. I used about 4 hours of video clips.
