“The Black Side” was a multidisiplinary performance about light and its absence in the Nordic countries.
It was the result of 12 months extensive audio and video recordings in Norway, Denmark and Finland – put together into a performance that pulled it’s audience through pitch black darkness, fog, loneliness and blinding light.
The artists behind the group Location X has all marked themselves as creative forces within their respective genres. In Black Side they have gathered to create a special performance where music, dance and video art come together in exploring the puzzle of the Nordic light.

The music is based on field-recordings recorded during residencies in multiple location of Denmark and Finland. The music is put together by fragments of these recordings and composed directly on stage during the process of the development of the performances
It was later released and is available on vinyl and as download from Bandcamp.com
